The intent of American Alpaca Fiber Federation, LLC and its original purpose was to find a textile mill for Alpaca fiber in America. But if the demand and quantity is too high for the American Alpaca breeder or if there are not enough American breeders that wish to participate, then the American Alpaca Fiber Federation, LLC will go outside the United States to purchase fiber.

I Currently Use Fiber Coops or Cottage Mills, I Do Not Want To Change.

American Alpaca Fiber Federation, LLC will purchase Alpaca Fiber only from those who wish to sell. If you are happy with how you currently market or trade your Alpaca fiber, we encourage you to stay with your program. There are several fine Alpaca Fiber Coops and marketing groups and a number of excellent cottage mills. American Alpaca Fiber Federation, LLC is not interested in those type markets. Our focus is a world wide commercial market for Alpaca fleece where we are paid for our fleece and nothing less.

What Is The Cost Of Membership In American Alpaca Fiber Federation, LLC?

The cost of membership is $250.00 for a 5 year term.  This membership enables you to sell your fleece to American Alpaca Fiber Federation, LLC.  Upon electing to become a member of AAFF a membership application must be signed and sent with payment.  The membership application will be posted on this web site by August 10, 2008.
